Su Eld-Weaver :
Owner and Head Groomer.
I have been surrounded by animals since my early childhood and have always enjoyed the company of dogs. My younger years were spent growing up in Africa and discovering the local wildlife. We kept seven dogs pretty much all the time over there and had a variety of breeds, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. My mother owned a small grooming salon in Africa and that was my introduction to the grooming world.
I started grooming in the UK at my local Kennels at the time, which are home to the beautiful Marlander St. Bernards. Linda Martin dogs played a large part in the start of my show grooming aspirations. A few years later I bought my first standard poodle and embarked on showing. I gained most of my knowledge by talking to breeders from various breeds and watching at the big championship show. I also discovered the world of competitive Grooming and found it to be very addictive and extremely enjoyable..
I hold the City & Guilds 7750 qualification and I am the proud to say the Northern Grooming Champion 2007. I have also been selected for Groom Team England 08-09
